So this is how we got wet yesterday, how the Girls got wet yesterday. Kimberlen kept trying to tell me that we just needed to put the slide inside the pool and I kept telling her that it wouldn't lift up high enough to get the pool under. Needless to say the 6 year old won again and it worked.
She had a blast sliding down in all different directions. She tried forward, backward, on her stomach and even on her back head first.
Maycee was just as happy to sit on the end of the slide and put her feet in the water every now and then. Kimberlen didn't think it was such a good idea that she sat there. She was always in the way!
Then they decided to run and jump in from across the yard, as if they needed all the running room for speed. I love the tube Kimberlen has around her, like the pool was deep or something.
Maycee took her turn running as well. Although she came short of jumping in she just loves to do what Sisi does.
Kimberlen kept saying "Mom do you think I can do it this way without getting hurt?" I would say you'll just have to try it and after her splash at the bottom she would let me know she was ok and not to worry it didn't hurt. I think that a few times it did hurt her a little but she didn't say a word worried she would have to stop playing.
In and out all day is what Maycee did. She would put one leg over and sit on the pool and bounce for a while and then lean forward to swing her other leg out. Just then SplaT, she would hit the wet ground every time.
I think that finally Maycee got tired of the water and went over sat down at the picnic table and just sat there like "Ok, where's the food?" I'll tell ya that girl can eat. If she thinks your getting food out or ready she will go over to her high chair and try to get in. She is a funny thing, that girl.

How funny!
Dont ya just love creating your own park. It is my favorite. Its free, the food is better, the bathrooms are cleaner and you dont have to fight anyone for the shade or worry about others seeing you in your swimsuit!
