EAST CANYON DAM

Happy Pioneer Day to us! Oh, and you! We decided to do the non-typical (parade and carnival) Utah thing this year and go boating. The weather was great and we had such a good time. Eric's dad and our friends Justin and Kim joined us. It was Kims birthday and this helped her to pretend it wasn't and as you can see she only has just over two weeks left till her baby is due. Maycee loved the water and would try to get in anytime she was close to the edge of the boat. She enjoyed being in the water and using her life jacket to float, but did not want me to let go of her. Kimberlen is like a little fish and has learned this year that her life jacket will hold her up and not to be scared in the water. She also practiced jumping in off the side of the boat and diving off the back with the help of her Dad. I was able to get up on the wake board and stay up this time (YEAH) and it was actually fun. Although I crashed really bad and hurt my neck I will definitely do it next time. Justin also got out on the wake board and showed me up big time (he has done it a few more times than me). Eric says he is getting to old to do water sports and only got in the water to put the boat back on the trailer. Little baby.
And yes Maycee wore her life jacket the whole time except when we took those few pictures.

Rock on Mrs. Wakeboarding! I think that wakeboarding is so hard! You look like it is pretty easy for you! Looks like fun!

The water looks great. I love the picture of Eric pushing in Kimberlen when she was diving. You got some great pictures.

What fun! I think just might have to try the whole wakeboarding thing sometime....although I hate water. You will have to give me some tips!
