So we spent the day outside fixing some doors and replacing some of our interior doors. It was sunny but not extremely warm. Maycee loves to be outside but she puts everything in her mouth so we decided the best way to stop her from dong that was to put her in her walker and then she couldn't reach too many things and nothing on the ground. She kept her hat on almost the entire time, which is very surprising because she usually pulls them off the second we put them on.
To keep her from running down the driveway and into the road we drug the hose across the driveway and then she could not go over it. But, oh did she try. She would be at the top of the driveway and start heading down so fast she would pick up her feet and coast. She hit the hose so hard and fast that couple of times the back wheels came off the ground. That would have been real cute if she would have face planted it.
Kimberlen spent the day riding her bike and scooter and doing little kid stuff like whining cuz she is bored. So Maycee thought she needed to wear her bike helmet. She was so cute. She would get mad when we took it off, so she wore it for a while.
Needless to say it was wonderful to finally be out in the yard in the sunshine. I planted flowers and pruned the shrubs. Kimberlen was a really good helper. At the end of the day we were all sunburned and yes Maycee was too! Poor little girl. The sun must have reflected off the plastic tray of her walker because I know her face was not in the sun that much.
Anyway I think she will be just fine.
