Erics BIG Day

Here it is, the big day, Eric's first time in a race. His nerves were on edge big time. He was a bit scared and excited. It was a great day, 85 degrees with a little breeze. A little warm, but that was nothing. The race suit and clothes that they wear add some heat and oh was he sweating.

These are the pictures of him getting in the car and ready to race. We had to help him put on his seat belt and helmet and gloves. His hands were shaky but he was able to connect the steering wheel and he was off!! I am not sure of the exact place that he finished but it was near the back. This was a good day of racing he didn't get hurt he learned a few things for next time and was not involved in the wrecks. Good Job Honey!

This is him out on the track. It was fun to watch.
Although, he spun once and I got scared, I was still
cheering him on. I got the whole thing on video for the review
before the next race. Good luck.

Eric and Justin, his BFF who came to give him a hand
and was greatly appreciated.
This is James his teammate. They both act like silly little
kids as you can tell by the looks on there faces.
James actually won first place after they disqualified
the driver that originally took first.
Way to go James!

This is Post Race Day. Ya, he needed some big time rest after working on those cars for over 20 something hours in two days and racing. So, I let him rest, I Love You!
