PoPSicLe!

So what are we doing these hot days of summer?? Eating popsicles!!! This is the first popsicle that Maycee has ever had and she just loved it. Kimberlen also says that popsicles are her favorite too, she even asked for them all winter long.

Since Maycee loves to eat and suck on ice, I figured that she would love this cold, sweet treat. And, of course she did!! They were so cute sitting on the front porch in the shade with their treats.

Maycee was really good about sharing with me and her sister. She let both of us taste her treat. Kimberlen was not as willing to share with Maycee and I. But, I made her share so that we could both taste each flavor.

I could tell that she was getting a bit chilly when her lips and face around her mouth were cold to the touch. Even with that she was not letting go or giving it up.

What a hard thing to understand, that fact that when it is gone there is no more to eat! I am sure that she would have sat there for hours eating one after another. It was fun to watch the juice drip down her chin, and the laughter between the three of us was just HilArioUs!
