So I let Maycee feed herself for the first time. Well, kinda, I have let her have finger foods and such by herself but this was the first real meal. I don't know what it is about kids and tomato based foods but she sure loves them. This was what we call "Goolosh". I had given her a spork to use but not real sure she got too much on it. It I would help her put the food on then she had no problems getting it in her mouth.
She ate two bowls of this stuff and was having a great time with it. When I got her out of her chair there was a fair share in the seat and on her lap. She also got a bit on the floor. Needless to say I used a bunch of Spray N Wash and had to mop the floor. I am sure she thought she was a big girl and doing a great job.

She looks like she was enjoying her new sense of freedom! I love it when kids feed themselves. It just makes such a mess!
She was SO cute! I couldn't believe how much stuff was on her chair when I lifted her out of it!! It was a cute mess :)
She is adorable. And so big!!
