OREGON

We took a trip to Oregon for Eric's Aunts wedding and made a family vacation out of it. I don't want to say it was like the "Griswold's Family Vacation" but it was. We made some great memories. We traveled up through Idaho over to Oregon then down the coast into California and Nevada. I have to say I saw some pretty amazing sights.
(None of the pictures are in order...I couldn't figure out how to move them.)

I made noise at this sea lion and he turned his head and looked at us.

I was amazed at how they just put the houses in the sides of the mountains. The turquoise one was a shop with a B&B on top.

Our view from the top of the Siskiyou Mountains. I would not recommend driving over these mountains with anything other than just a truck. It was a bit scary at times.

The wedding was beautiful and the view, like most things along the way was amazing.

The day at the beach was not warm to say the least. We were about 45 mins from the beach and when we got there the sun was gone and the fog was thick.

 

 It was also chilly.

 Glad most of us had jackets.

These were the fields and fields of grape vines. You could see these for miles and miles.

We were able to see a car show and street festival while we were there.

This is an old hand crank snow cone machine. Very neat to see.

Also the College was having an art show. We went to that and this old tree was out in front of the school.

It was a great trip and we really had a wonderful time.
