Pumpkin Carving Party!

When I was younger my mom and her cousins would get all us kids together to carve pumpkins for Halloween. I have great memories of that tradition and wanting to keep my inner child alive I have started it again for my kids. This is the second annual Pumpkin Carving Party that I have set up at my moms house. We had a lot of fun this year with the little ones being bigger. I have a cousin who's baby is a month younger than mine and all the kids had fun playing together.
Here are the cute kids.

Maycee didn't really want to put her hands in the pumpkin. She would have just been happy to carry them around and she keep trying to hug them. She would pick up just a seed and that was okay for her too.

Kimberlen did pretty good at getting all the "guts" out but needed some assistance still and Grandma ended up carving out her flying witch, Twice. Thanks, mom.

Here is the end result. We had all kinds of of pumpkin faces when we were through.

Trying to get a good picture of the girls together was not going to happen. I think there were too many things going on to pay attention to the task at hand.

Thanks for the fun day everyone and for being the hostess Mom.
