Cookies!

So we baked some cookies and both of the girls helped. Well actually just Kimberlen but if you ask her she will tell you that Maycee helped too, because watching is helping. She did more than just watch. She laughed and talked and yelled at us the whole time.
We had a lot of fun. Kimberlen thinks it is pretty neat to be able to put the ingredients into the mixer. Obviously, I don't let her do a lot, it is just easier for me to do it myself (I really need to change my attitude).
Kimberlen's hands got pretty sick and gooey as she was rolling the balls of dough to make the cookies. Maycee just thought it was hilarious.
This is Maycee's first homeade cookie. I have just started giving her more "grown-up" food as we call it at our house. I could tell that she thought it was better that her Gerber cookies that she loves as well. She did not want to let go of it. Kimberlen thought they were pretty good too. I also think these are the best. They are the Neiman Marcus recipe. YUM!
At the end of her cookie it was so soggy and she was covered in goo. She keep sucking on it and little pieces would break off and she would gum them really fast and go after some more. Needless to say we had a fun time, and yes I did put a bib on her after this picture.
